Dr. Christopher McLeod is an Associate Professor and Director of the Partnership for Work, Health and Safety in the School of Population and Public Health at the University of BC. His research focuses on work as a determinant of health; evaluations of occupational health programs and policies; and the causes and consequences of work-related injury and disease. He has led evaluations of occupational health and safety management systems across Canada. Current research interests include emerging effects of climate change on worker health; impact of chronic pain on return to work after work-related injury; and worker health in high-risk sectors/populations.

  • Join us in Vancouver, Canada for the 7th International Work Disability Prevention and Integration (WDPI) Conference to be held at the stunning University of British Columbia campus.

    The conference will bring together researchers, trainees, practitioners and policymakers to learn about and apply new knowledge that will promote work disability prevention and management and support healthy working lives.

    The program will feature keynote lectures, mini-symposia, workshops, concurrent oral presentation sessions, and poster sessions. There will be ample opportunity to network via an opening reception, a gala dinner, and student and early career research events.
