Dr. Jennifer Coelho

Dr. Jennifer Coelho is a psychologist in the Provincial Specialized Eating Disorders Program for Children and Adolescents at BC Children’s Hospital; investigator at BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute; and clinical associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on predictors of treatment outcomes in children and youth with eating disorders, and evaluating the impact of clinician training and consultation in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders. Dr. Coelho strives to integrate and apply her research findings to improve clinical care for youth, their families, and the clinicians who provide care for eating disorders. When she is not working, Jennifer loves to travel – both within beautiful British Columbia and further afield.
