Dr. Maja Krzic is a Professor of Soil Science in the Faculties of Land and Food Systems and Forestry. She is internationally recognized for contributions to the enhancement of soil science education through development and implementation of innovations such as open textbooks and other open access educational resources as well as establishment of several international networks focused on soil science education. Maja provides leadership at the international, national, and local levels; and for her efforts she has received 24 awards from various national and international organizations and societies focused on soil science, agronomy, education, and media development.
