
Dr. Sandra Brown
Associate Professor
Faculty of Land and Food Systems
Dr. Sandra Brown is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. She is a geographer, with expertise in soil and water resources, and a specific focus on international development. Sandra’s research interests include characterization of soil–water properties of Andean soils, developing indicators for water quantity and access to water resources. She teaches introductory and upper-level soil science courses, and actively engages students with the UBC Farm.
